A short film on a mission to become a feature film
LUNA is a proof of concept written-directed by Aurora Ovan and produced by Incipit Film (Italy) in co-production with Patrick McCullough (USA) and Beef Production (Serbia) and is in early development to become a feature film.

I saw Luna at Trieste Science+Fiction 2025 and was immediately captivated. Apart from the masterful way it was filmed, Luna is an invitation to discover a living, pulsating, and original world where the dialogue between Nature and the Future is at the center of everything. We need great stories like Luna to show that storytelling is still at the heart of cinema. This is definitely a short film that leaves you wanting more.
One of the best films I saw at the Trieste science fiction film festival. Fantastically written, acted, shot... and an important subject matter wrapped up in a great fantasy/sci-fi narrative. if you like Children of Men you'll be in for a treat!
